We are Lift: an independent home accessory and lifestyle store in Southwold that’s devoted to sourcing and creating well-designed, functional items for your home and for you. Everything we stock is bold, bright and uplifting and often Danish or Japanese inspired.

Lift was born a few years ago whilst living and working in London. After a visit to Southwold for a weekend I instantly fell in love and decided it was the place for me to pursue my dream of having my own shop. After a relocation and some serious planning we opened on the High Street in June 2017. 3 years later, we’ve upgraded into our new bigger shop, just off the High Street where we hope we’re here to stay.

We have lots more exciting brands in our shop in Southwold, but for now the website is generally exclusively for product we make. We stock many other brands in our Southwold shop such as Areaware, Earl of East, Toyo, Rice, Lexon, School of Life, Izizipi, Block, Claudia Made This, Red Paper House and many more. We have a great card selection from many UK designers and makers including WRAP, Evermade, The Completist, Lottie Hall, Pirrip Press, Brie Harrison and much much more.
